Book Signing With Julia Buckingham

Bedside Manor hosted a book signing on November 29th to celebrate Chicago Interior Designer, Julia Buckingham. Modernique, Julia’s new book, is delightfully filled with inspiring designs. Read below to learn more about the fun event with Julia Buckingham!

 

It was a lovely evening for customers, trade members and friends to gather at the Lincoln Park shop. Guests sipped on bubbly, nibbled on snacks, and met with the guest of honor during the book signing. Customers even had the chance to win a $500 gift card to shop at Bedside Manor Ltd. This was especially relevant with the holidays just around the corner!

 

Blue Door Farm Stand provided fried chicken sliders, chocolate chip cookies and other yummy treats for the guests to enjoy while they shopped for bed and bath linens. Additionally, Chicago Magazine wrote a lovely piece on the event and provided a friendly photographer to shoot images throughout the evening. Julia has mastered the art of mixing modern and vintage to create vibrant and eclectic homes. You’ll be greeted with colorful rooms filled with rich colors, fun textures and statement furniture pieces as soon as you open Modernique . Although Julia’s work is elegant, each home still encompasses live-able and functional spaces. Most of all, we are honored to have some of the bedding from the stores featured inside Modernique.

Buckingham Interiors collaborates with the Bedside Manor team often as a source for fine linens, fabrics, and home décor.
