Dorm Room Inspiration

Each summer the Bedside Manor team works with a lot of students before they head off to prep school or college in the fall. Although we are mainly known for our high-end bed and bath linens for the master and guest bedroom, we are lucky to carry some very fun, fashion-forward brands that are perfect for a younger customer.

I clearly remember picking out my dorm room bedding (many years ago) before I went to school on the East Coast and thought it was such an exciting moment in my life. I had always grown up sharing a room with my younger sister so we always needed to work together to coordinate our bedroom decorating style.  Designing my college dorm room was a fun way for me to show my own creativity! Below are a few different back-to-school looks that will hopefully help you make those tiny dorm rooms feel a little more like home.

There is something so classic and timeless about a preppy bed. The combination of crisp white percale and the colorful embroidered border will make a clean, crisp look. We realize not everyone wants a colorful and bold bed for their college dorm room. Plus, many back-to-school students may be heading to Law School, Business School, etc and are decorating a new apartment.
