Shop Luxury Bedding: Lincoln Park

Happy New Year! January is always a very busy month at Bedside Manor with inventory, promotions and trade shows. It is also a great time to reflect on the previous year and look forward to the future.
At the end of 2017, we photographed each of the stores and their team members to put a face behind the beautiful bedding at Bedside Manor. So to start off 2018, we are going to introduce you to the women who create the beautiful displays in the “Shop Our Style” series. First stop: Lincoln Park, Chicago!

Lincoln Park, Chicago Team.
What would we do without our amazing design team members? In addition to working closely with clients to make bedroom dreams come true; these women create beautiful vignettes at each of the store locations. The Chicago store is located right in the heart of Lincoln Park, a neighborhood filled with lovely shops and restaurants. Our city store features many neutrals so we thought it was fitting to feature a modern bed with with shades of gray and taupe.
Neutral bedding is very popular in each of the Bedside Manor locations, especially for the master bedroom. There are so many ways to make this palette unique: taupe with a pop of color, all white bed, shades of gray, etc. In this “Shop Our Style” series, the featured bed in the Chicago store layers different textures throughout the bed to create a sophisticated, neutral bedroom ensemble.

Embroidered Sheeting
We love the look of a simple design embroidered on a white sheet. The embroidery adds just enough texture, and still keeps that crisp, clean look. The Cade by Sferra gives a modern touch to the traditional look. Available in two tonal colors, the swirl embroidery is eye-catching and looks quite lovely on the featured bed.
Linen Bedding
The linen duvet on the display bed is designed by Fino Lino. This duvet is hearty, textural and woven in earthy shades of ivory, brown, and taupe. You can see the organic detail from the photo. The Nicholoson Blanket by Pine Cone Hill and the Linen Bedding by Bella Notte are additional linen options that have the same breathable, relaxing, and simple feel.

Layers of Throws
Can you ever have too many throws for your home? The ever-so-popular Morgan Throw by Alicia Adams makes another appearance on this Chicago bed display. It looks so cozy placed along the the foot of the bed. In addition, the ladies added the Roma by Rani Arabella which is a classic cable-knit cashmere throw. The throws coordinate well together and give a unique textural detail to the bed. If you are looking for more options be sure to read blog on throws!

Textural Decorative Pillows
One easy way to incorporate some texture into a neutral bedding palette is with the decorative pillows. A fun patterned pillow paired with a solid fur bolster gives the bed a layered look. Plus, the neutral palette will make these pillows transition into the living room or guest bedroom if you are looking for a change.

Finally, don’t forget to continue the neutral layering throughout the entire bedroom. The Flynn Lamps by Arteriors flanked next to the bed are really eye-catching. The black base and shade add a modern, moody look paired with the speckled metallic detail. The finish varies on each lamp making each one a little unique.
