Coffee With Bedside: October 3, 2019
Happy October! It officially feels like fall in Chicago. The leaves just started to turn, the air is a bit crisper, and our stores are in full swing with our Annual Fall Sale. We are back with “Coffee With Bedside” to answer a few recent questions. As always, we want to hear from you so please contact us with any questions.
How often do you get new collections in the stores?
We introduce new collections twice a year to the stores. Once in the spring around February and March and then again in the fall around September and October. Although, we always want to keep our stores looking fresh and new, so we change our beds, vignettes and pillows constantly! It’s fun to play around with the new patterns and mix them with products we already have in inventory.
We are always looking for pieces to coordinate with our tried and true collections. Do you have favorite jeans and white blouse, but add to the outfit with a colorful scarf or fun jewelry? Just like your wardrobe, we like to add a new decorative pillow or a pretty new duvet cover to go with our white sheets for the new season. We just added new styles in Matouk, Sferra and Yves Delorme. You can preview and shop a couple of the styles below!
We have a thing for blue at Bedside Manor Ltd and this shade in the Nalia Collection by Sferra is so lovely for the bedroom. Plus, it has an ombre effect which makes it extra special.
We love the new scalloped India collection by Matouk. The two tones of color add a unique touch to this sweet embroidery.
What makes a “zero-twist” cotton towel?
To make a towel strong, durable and plush, cotton fibers are twisted multiple times to give the fabric strength. If you look at a towel closely, you can see the small, twisted loops. The only way to get a zero twist towel or a low twist towel is by using a high quality cotton. For example, the Milagro towel by Matouk is made from zero-twist yarns. Since the Milagro is made with a fine, long-staple cotton, the towel is not only soft, but extremely absorbent and plush. There’s a reason this towel is so popular: fluffy and drys quickly!
